The WAGS Tournament is the premier all-girls tournament in the United States. The following age groups and flights will be offered for the 2009 event.

U-19 (August 1, 1991 and younger) U-14 (August 1, 1996 and younger)
U-17 (August 1, 1993 and younger) U-13 (August 1, 1997 and younger)
U-16 (August 1, 1994 and younger) U-12 (August 1, 1998 and younger)
U-15 (August 1, 1995 and younger) U-11 (August 1, 1999 and younger)

Teams must play in their appropriate age group! Teams applying to the WAGS Tournament need not play up to seek the best competition. The only exception would be the U-18 teams. Since the WAGS Tournament does not have a U-18 age group, these teams will be included in the U-19 age group. ANY other applications to play up will NOT be considered.

Under 12 Age Group

The WAGS Tournament will be offering Under 12 competition in both 8 v 8 and 11 v 11 formats. The number of teams accepted, the number of flights, and the placement of teams amongst flights will be at the discretion of the tournament committee.

Showcase Format for U16, U17 and U19 Age Groups

Just like 2009, the U16, U17 and U19 teams will play one game each day (Sat/Sun/Mon).  This will allow players to get maximum exposure to college coaches while allowing them proper rest between games.  The tournament will make every attempt to schedule Monday games to allow teams adequate travel time to return home.
